Porto Marghera and Porto Torres to New Orleans - 2 Reactors

1 reactor: 525 mT
1 reactor: 165 mT

The 165 mT reactor was loaded in Porto Marghera and the 525 mT was loaded in Porto Torres by vessel's own 2x 400 mT cranes. Due to the shape of the 525 mTreactor, the assessment of the lifting positions was very difficult.

After intensive engineering between the supplier of the reactors, the carrier and NMT, a successful lifting arrangement suitable for both cargo and vessel's cranes has been put in place.


NMT monitored the operations at both loading and discharging ports.
