Brought Laing O'Rourke's massive 75,000 RT of stackers and reclaimers from China to NW Australia with pinpoint execution over 6 months.
2012: Thailand Office Opens, Hope Downs 4 Conquered
Expanded to Thailand and delivered 370,000 RT for Rio Tinto's Hope Downs 4 project from China to the Pilbara across 9 months.
2013: Three Megarushes, One Unstoppable Year
Completed three massive, concurrent projects moving 784,000 RT to Australia over 13 months. We stopped at nothing.
2015: 500,000 RT Moved for Roy Hill
For Samsung C&T's Roy Hill packages, we delivered an unstoppable 500,000 RT to the Pilbara from worldwide locations across 15 months.
2017: 600,000 RT Panamanian Feat Begins
Commenced 6-year global delivery of over 600,000 RT to Panama for First Quantum's Minera Panama project. Complexity embraced.

Eelco Boorsma
Visionary Founder
Eelco Boorsma is the entrepreneurial force who propelled NMT Projects to become the globally renowned logistics leader it is today. As Founder and Chairman of the Board, his 40+ year career has been defined by vision, creativity and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Eelco’s journey began as a chartered shipbroker in the 1980s before he acquired the company that would eventually become NMT in 1990. Under his guidance and partnership, NMT transformed into the unstoppable problem-solving powerhouse it is presently.
What sets Eelco apart is his courage to embrace new challenges head-on. His out-of-the-box thinking has opened up new markets and business areas for NMT’s growth. He takes immense pride in developing the company’s hallmarks of top-tier service, creativity, ethics and sustainability.
At the core of Eelco’s leadership philosophy is empowering NMT’s people as the company’s most vital asset. He fosters an open, collaborative culture where employees at all levels contribute ideas and solutions. His vision and determination have been crucial drivers in NMT’s ascent.
Eelco’s unstoppable mindset means he is always seeking new frontiers to conquer. He actively explores potential joint ventures and partnership opportunities to expand NMT’s capabilities further. When not trailblazing NMT’s next endeavor, Eelco is a proud family man who enjoys sailing and immersing himself in new cultures worldwide. His upcoming tango dancing course in Buenos Aires exemplifies his spirit of lifelong learning and taking on fresh challenges.

Ric Earnshaw
Founding partner in NMT Australia
Ric Earnshaw is the unstoppable force behind NMT Projects’ success. A Founding Partner, he has driven the company’s global growth and positioning for over 20 years.
With 35 years of expertise, Ric is a master at conquering complex logistics projects. His energetic yet personable leadership has delivered over $650M in flawless project execution.
Ric’s commercial acumen and people-first approach inspire teams to move mountains. From negotiating major deals to developing NMT’s Australian footprint, his unstoppable commitment gets results.
When not spearheading NMT’s next feat, Ric supports animal charities close to his heart. His passion for overcoming challenges extends far beyond logistics.

Janis Arlidge
CEO
Janis Arlidge is the driving force behind NMT Projects global strategy and operations as Partner and CEO. Her career has been defined by a relentless pursuit of excellence across diverse sectors.
From 1998 to 2007, Janis honed her financial acumen in the oil and gas industry, managing cost control for offshore rigs and commercial diving operations. She then transitioned to business management before joining NMT in 2008.
At NMT Projects, Janis’ unstoppable rise saw her progress from Accountant to General Manager, Managing Director of Australia, and ultimately Group CEO. Her strategic vision unified the company’s global entities, driving consistency and alignment.
Janis’ leadership strengths lie in her people engagement skills, cultural awareness, financial strategies, and ability to solve problems and make decisions on the fly. She has spearheaded critical initiatives like implementing CargoWise systems and managing NMT Projects’ large, multi-regional workforce of 150+ employees.
Becoming a Partner in 2017 and leading the merger of all entities onto a single platform are highlights of Janis’ tenure so far. Her fellow board members trust her unstoppable commitment to delivering excellence across NMT Projects Group.
Strong, determined, firm yet fair – Janis leads with wisdom and genuine care for people. Outside of work, she is a loving wife and mother who supports underprivileged children through charitable initiatives in Thailand and Perth.

Grant Bell
Partner & Operations Director
Grant Bell is a Partner at NMT Projects, contributing to operations and business development across the Australian region and key markets including Thailand, Vietnam, and China. With nearly two decades of industry experience, he is recognised for his systems-oriented thinking and adaptability.
Grant began his journey at NMT Projects in 2005. After spending over 12 years abroad in international chartering roles within the multipurpose heavy lift vessel market, he returned to NMT Projects in 2020 with a broad understanding of project forwarding, particularly in complex markets across the Asia-Pacific region.
In 2022, Grant became a shareholder and Director, where he continues to apply his expertise and strategic thinking to support NMT Projects’ growth, both in Australia and internationally.
Armed with a Bachelor of Commerce and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, colleagues describe Grant as “diligent, dependable, and personable.” He values teamwork and takes pride in fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
Outside of work, Grant is actively involved in local sports and enjoys golf and distance running, maintaining a balanced and active lifestyle.
